Nsefu camp You do not need to travel far to see wildlife at Nsefu. Many a lazy afternoon can be spent lounging in the bar, nursing a cool drink, flicking through the collection of books and magazines, and watching the game.

Robins house Robin′s House lies on the edge of Nkwali Camp. Recently renovated, this private house is ideal for families, honeymooners and guests looking for a little privacy. Chongwe river house The Chongwe area is famous for huge male elephants feeding through the winterthorn grove in which the house is situated and this amazing game experience is enhanced by the fact the Chongwe River itself is the main water source for most of the game in the area.

The Ellerman Villa and Spa comprises a Spa with two bedrooms on the ground floor, a living area on the second floor and three bedrooms on the third floor. A Beezy Bailey sculpture of a man holding a bird stands at the lower ground floor entrance and welcomes guests while at the same time emphasizing the drama of a black marble waterfall that plunges into a bed of weathered pebbles. The architecture of The Ellerman Villa is reminiscent of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. The villa has a private art collection that has taken the owner years to accumulate. The artwork is tastefully displayed around the villa providing the discerning client with surroundings that befit such a stunning villa and location.

Michaela Strachan recommends the South Luangwa. "Luangwa was the first place I went on a proper walking safari holiday. If you're into safaris and you've never tried a walking one I'd highly recommend it. You really feel part of the bush and see and learn about things that would pass you by if you were in a vehicle.  At Kuyenda, we slept in a thatched cottage with the most amazing sausage tree right outside. The most memorable night for me was listening to an elephant chomping away at the sausage pods whilst we lay under our mozzie net in the middle of the night. It's always amazing falling asleep to the sounds of the African bush."
